Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Cardinal EV Charging ("we") collects through evchargerinstallationhollyspringsnc.com and the phone number on it, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Who Does the Work

Cardinal EV Charging publishes information about EV charger installation. We do not perform electrical work. Calls to our phone number are answered by or connected to independent electrical contractors licensed in North Carolina. Those contractors set their own prices, provide their own quotes, and perform and warrant their own work.

Information We Collect

• Call details. When you call, the phone system logs your phone number, the date and time, call length, and the page or number you called from.
• What you tell us on the call. For example, your name, address, and details about your home, vehicle, and project.
• Call recordings. Calls may be recorded.
• Site usage data. Basic technical data such as pages viewed, browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through Cloudflare and Google Analytics (see below).

Call Recording

Calls may be recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping. North Carolina is a one-party consent state under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 15A-287. By staying on the line, you agree to the recording. If you do not want to be recorded, please hang up.

How Information Is Used and Shared

• To connect your call with an independent licensed electrician who can discuss your project.
• Your call details, and any information you share on the call, are shared with the electrician you speak with so they can follow up and prepare a quote.
• To keep the phone system and website working, secure, and useful.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of callers, contractors, or the public.

We do not sell your information for money.

Hosting and Analytics

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser details) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the site. It records things like pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, device and browser type, approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address), and clicks on the phone number. It does not record what is said on a call.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not send it your name, phone number, or email address.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Data Retention

We keep call records and recordings only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete them.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@evchargerinstallationhollyspringsnc.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You can also ask the electrician you spoke with to delete the information you shared with them.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
